Skiing/Snowshoeing - Just a short distance away is the home of one of the state’s best-known ski resorts. Snow Ridge has a variety of downhill ski and snowboarding slopes ranging from the "Bunny Hill" for the beginner to the "Racing Hill" and the "Terrain Park" which has a 48 passenger school bus for a hit located mid hill. There is also access to some of the best cross-country ski trails atop the slopes.

Also located in our area is the Breia Trail: one of the largest Nordic ski and snowshoeing trails in the east with some of the most magnificent scenery extending nearly 50 kilometers. This trail is for everyone from a beginner to the advanced skier which makes it a great option for a family getaway. Ski rentals are available at the Boonville warming hut.
